Common questions.
Is it allowed to ask customers for Google reviews?
Yes. Google allows businesses to ask customers for reviews. What is not allowed is offering something in return, asking only happy customers (review gating), or writing reviews yourself.
Can we send the SMS only to satisfied customers?
No. That is review gating, which breaks Google’s rules and can lead to reviews being removed. Everyone gets the same request, and that is how we set it up.
Can we give a discount to customers who leave a review?
No. Google does not allow incentives for reviews, and Norwegian rules on hidden advertising apply too. The routine works without it.
What does it cost?
From NOK 1,490 for set-up, plus NOK 190 a month including up to 100 SMS. No lock-in. No VAT is added.
What if we get a bad review?
It happens to everyone. You get templates for a calm, professional reply. A good reply to a bad review often builds more trust than the review costs.
