How Alin Digital handles enquiries, technical data, cookies and optional analytics.

What data we process
When you submit a contact form we may process your name, email, phone number, message, selected service, preferred start, the page the form was sent from and campaign information in the URL. Server and security systems may also process technical logs such as IP address and time.
Purposes and legal bases
Enquiries are used to respond, assess needs and follow up a potential customer relationship. Depending on the situation, processing is based on steps before a possible contract or Alin Digital’s legitimate interest in responding to and documenting business enquiries. Optional analytics is activated only after consent.
Retention
Ordinary sales and contact enquiries are reviewed regularly and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. As an internal standard, inactive leads should not be kept longer than 24 months unless further retention is necessary because of an active customer relationship, documentation needs or legal requirements. Technical security logs may have a shorter retention period with the hosting provider.
Checklist, email tips and booking
When you download the checklist, use the price calculator or request a call, we process your name, email, business name and phone if given, your selections and preferred time in order to send what you asked for and follow up. We only send tips and news by email if you have ticked the box yourself (consent). You can withdraw consent at any time by replying "unsubscribe" to an email from us or writing to support@alindigital.no. The offer card on the website only stores the time you last saw it in your browser's local storage, so it is not shown again for seven days.
Recipients and providers
Data may be processed by providers needed for website hosting and email. If Google Analytics is configured in the theme, Google Analytics loads only after you have actively consented to analytics. Alin Digital should keep the actual provider list and any data processing agreements updated to match the production setup.
Cookies and local storage
This website uses as little storage as possible. Necessary storage is used to remember your cookie choice. Google Analytics is optional and does not load until you actively choose “Allow analytics”. We do not use advertising or tracking pixels (such as Meta Pixel), and we do not sell data.

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Ltd. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Read more in Google’s privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
Logged-in WordPress administrators also receive WordPress’s own login cookies. These do not apply to ordinary visitors.
Links to Facebook and LinkedIn in the footer are ordinary links – no content or cookies from these services load until you click through yourself.
How to change or withdraw consent
Click “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page and choose “No thanks”. The Google Analytics cookies (_ga) are then deleted from this domain and Analytics will not load again. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Declining analytics does not affect your use of the website.
Your rights
Depending on the processing, you may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction and objection. Where processing is based on consent, consent can be withdrawn. Contact support@alindigital.no to exercise your rights. We may request necessary information to verify identity before data is disclosed or deleted.
Complaint
If you believe personal data is processed contrary to the rules, you may contact Alin Digital first and you also have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
